Customer Testimonials

The Kill Point (cont.)
“Whenever we ran into a situation where a standard camera would be too large to allow us to get a shot, we used the Iconix. We’ve placed it behind railroad ties for actors to run and jump over during chase scenes; we’ve rigged it to a boom pole and manipulated it inside of air ducts and, during one scene showing a spy cam coming up from the bank floor, we were able to place the Iconix behind where the camera was to appear, and shoot it as it came up out of the floor. The Iconix was the larger of the two, but only slightly.”
—Michael Endler, first assistant cameraman for The Kill Point

National Geographic Television
“The compact nature of the Iconix allows us to heighten production value to our natural history stories and provide unique—and sometimes groundbreaking—perspectives on animal behavior. We’re able to use it in remote locations where bringing in a crane or larger jib is not practical or affordable, and where standard sized HD cameras (and even handheld versions) are too large or cumbersome to position in the required location. In the past, we accomplished this with standard definition lipstick cameras, but now we can obtain amazing perspectives in high definition to blend seamlessly with other original HD footage.”
—Jeff Morales, Producer, Natural History Unit, National Geographic Television

Ocean’s Thirteen
“The image quality for the Iconix was fabulous. When I first saw it projected, it was comparable to a Sony HDW F900 image. It was amazing—it blew me away.”
— Steven Meizler, First Assistant Cameraman, Ocean’s Thirteen

WQED Multimedia
“The size of the Iconix was impressive, but it was the image that I really noticed. The presentation was very well received. We hope to do more events like this one and we would definitely use the Iconix cameras again.”
—Paul Byers, Director of Engineering, WQED Multimedia
