Bruce K. Long Appointed CEO of Iconix Video
Motion Picture Producer
and Former National Lampoon President & COO Takes the Reins
of Digital Camera Company

-- Iconix Video, manufacturer of the HD-RH1F, the world’s smallest professional quality HD video camera, today announced the appointment of Hollywood business strategist and filmmaker Bruce K. Long to the position of CEO.
“Iconix is poised for growth, and Bruce brings the leadership and strong vision that will help take the company to the next level,” said Wayne Upton, Iconix Video founder and President. “Filmmakers at all levels have provided us with great insight into the acute challenges they face to produce content efficiently. Bruce’s deep experience in both production and post production allows him to direct the company and product development with a solid understanding of our customers’ requirements and challenges.”
Long joins Iconix from National Lampoon, where he was President and COO, overseeing all aspects of National Lampoon’s production, distribution and network operations and serving as Executive Producer on the forthcoming title, “National Lampoon’s Bag Boy.” Prior to that, from 2000-2005, Long worked at Technicolor Creative Services, where as Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development he was responsible for leading an aggressive string of acquisitions that expanded Technicolor’s capabilities. During his tenure at Technicolor, Long also handled the development and integration of new services for asset management and digital distribution platforms, including mobile, Internet, digital cinema and digital capture-based feature post production.
