Santa Barbara, CA January 16, 2007 – Iconix Video, Inc., a leading developer of advanced high-definition remote head camera systems, today announced that initial orders for its award-winning HD-RH1 Remote Camera System total more than $1 million. General availability for the camera was announced last month and units have begun shipping. Since its debut at the 2006 NAB show, the Iconix Video HD-RH1 has garnered tremendous interest from multiple sectors of the broadcast and film industries. Iconix Video has offered the HD-RH1 to a diverse array of these markets with great success. Some of the most interested sectors now include sports, reality and religious broadcast outlets and several major Hollywood feature film productions, with additional interest from government/military and corporate users. One innovative user is Ron Prociw, President of ImageCam, a prime supplier of remote control and point-of-view (POV) camera systems to the television and film industries.
